My brother turned me on to subsonic when I first moved back to OKC from Tampa. Being only an hour or so away from Disney World my wife and I were there all the time. When we moved back to OKC we started going crazy not being able to be there every weekend. My brother stumbled upon subsonic and told me about it ... It was alittle slice of ... Disney magic!

My story is similar to everyone else's. I had been listening to live365 but I quickly got tired of that and started searching for something better. The request system on Subsonic is what pulled me in and I never left. I just listened for a long time until finally joining the forums and that was even better! I have never liked Disboards but I love the forums here.

That's great to know that SR can be separate from other sites and have a little place all it's own. I'm glad you love the forums.

That's pretty much how it was for us too! One of my favorite live365 channels went off the air and the others just didn't have as much oomph to me. (But to the credit of live365, I had no idea any stations that play Disney park music even existed!) I searched for something else and I found Subsonic Radio. Then through Sub, I found D-Cot...but as it turned out I liked Sub a whole lot better than D-Cot. I've looked at DisBoards, VisionsFantastic, and Micechat but none of them are even close to Subsonic! (I admit that I do go to one of those other boards on occasion for additional DL/D23 info though but I always report back! )

Anyway, I was listening to Epcot Innoventions music, I really wanted to listen to Innoventions theme again.
So, I was searching for some other songs from Epcot Innoventions Plaza Area music, I was surfing on the web and found Subsonic!
I love Subsonic, I think it's better than disboards from Live365!
I will still go to the disboards site occationally though, but I love my subsonic!

I found it through Google and I'm SO happy that I did. This is by far my favorite internet radio station and definitely helps me get through the day with a smile on my face.

My friend, mjmcsl4me told me about subsonic radio after one of our MANY wdw talks.I listened to it joined and have loved it ever since!! I love the forums, My friend also told me about them.It's like we're in our own little Disney world on here,I've really enjoyed getting to talk to other Disney fans who understand where you're coming from!!
