Rude people
Don't they know they are supposed to hush in the park so that I can hear the music? I'm kidding, of course.
But seriously, I was kind of disappointed that I wasn't hearing the music (the area music, specifically) all over the place. Seems like only in Sunshine Plaza was I able to clearly hear the music. My last trip to Disneyland (other than last week) was in 2006--before I discovered Subsonic Radio. I was all pumped up for this trip to hear everything I've come to love. Maybe the sights and smells (and the active 3 year old) distracted me.

During our last trip to WDW, I did hear the background music while we were staying at the Poly, it made me super happy! I knew the songs! I also noticed the music in Tomorrowland and Adventureland. I think the entrance loops are easy to hear in the parks too. Also, I would think it depends on the time of year you go, less crowds would most likely lead to more music you could hear.
At any rate, the magic just can't be beat when you're at Disney!!!

There are certain times where I can hear it pretty well and certain times that I cannot. The ones that really stood out to me on my last trip was Adventureland & Pinochhio Village Haus. I also think some areas might get played louder than others but I'm not too positive on that.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

The best was when I was down for Food & Wine and stepped inside WOL for the first time, when I left...I heard the BGM for WOL playing so I sat down on a bench near one of the speakers and was able to hear a few tracks from one of my favorite loops. I wonder if they were still playing the BGM for the F&G Festival this past spring as well.

Whenever we go to Disneyland I only really hear the Main Street Music, sometimes if I listen real hard I can hear the Adventureland Music, but most of the time it is mostly people talking loudly.

Defnitely heightens the experience for sure. I can't speak of any specific Disney moment for me right now but I remember walking through Universal and hearing the music to Back to the Future playing and I started skipping through the park in just sheer joy (this is a few months after the ride closed and it was like my 2nd time ever in Universal)

I have always enjoyed hearing the background music and attraction music from WDW ever since I was a little child. That's one of the reasons finding this Subsonic site has been so great. Sometimes you can hear the music in the parks clearly and sometimes you can't hear it at all, I enjoy the difference, it gives me a chance to give give attention to other things. I don't remember the details of Disneyland's loudness of the music 'cause I was only there once as a kid. I have a collected some music from albums since I was young. Its neat to hear some of the outdated area music that I have from old albums on Subsonic, 'cause I never hear them in the parks anymore, it's cool to know that others remember some of the older music that I think they rarely play in the park anymore.

This is the music that stands out in my mind when thinking about our last trip to MK. This is probably because we had food in that area a number of times and the music is rather annoying!
