Hi, I don't own an iPhone yet (or the iPod touch), but from my understanding, there is no way currently to stream to the iPhone, there are some streaming applications if you have a "hacked" iPhone. For example; http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/01/07/fl ... ur-iphone/

Although as I haven't used any of these apps I can't comment on how good they are. :D

Yea it seems that streaming content over the iPhone is limited by the contract that AT&T and Apple have due to RIAA restrictions on both of them. This apparently is going to be loosened next month with the release iPhone 2.0 firmware, where you can stream over WiFi connections but not Edge/3G.

Same sort of reason you have to buy songs you already own as a ringtone (yes I know about the 3rd party apps that do it, but it's the only official way.) It turns out that RIAA considers Ringtones to be a "public performance" and requires a different licenses.

I'm not sure weather if you could make something in the developer software??? (Possibility – although doubtful?) Though I have read a rumour that AOL were going to do internet radio on the iPhone. But I don't think that helps with listening to Subsonic radio as it seemed to depend on your GPS location.

More info of the AOL rumour is available at http://www.macrumors.com/iphone/2008/06 ... nto-radio/

Flytunes does include subsonic apparently;

My heart pumped as I clicked play... and I heard the familiar "Ladies and Gentlemen..." of Subsonic Radio!!!!! yeah!! :D
if you have any iPhone or iPod touch, just head to http://www.flytunes.fm/ and sign up for an account to start listenting. You can view the station list here: http://www.flytunes.fm/Channels.aspx
They don't mention SR by name, but it's in the Kids section.. bah. But our iPhone prayers have been answered, and now I can have SR with me 100% of the time. Yay!!!

Just FYI everyone that FlyTunes has changed a lot since then. It seems like they've dropped SR, at least from the Edge stations :(
