Hi guys,
I have a couple of devices in my house I would like to have playing the background music but I think making multiple connections to the same
stream would be wasting bandwidth. Is there a supported way to have
one stream relayed to 3 or 4 devices on my local network?
Thanks!

You can get the shoutcast server:
http://shoutcast.com/download/serve.phtml
I believe, you just set it to a private server and you use that to connect to our server. From there, you connect to your internal IP.
Great question BTW.

If you need help setting it up, don't hesitate to ask.

I use iTunes and an Airport Express... You can "multicast" to several of them if you have them.

I use airport express and airfoil, airfoil is software based and only costs $25, there is a trial version on the site. I supports lots of devices Mac's, PC's, airport express, and even apple tv. One of the better features is that the music plays to all the rooms in sync, so it's like having a mini disney around the house with all the music coming out the speakers with no delay!
