Subsonic Radio

Sometimes, listening to the music on this site -- music you can usually only hear when you're in Disney -- just brings tears to my eyes. Anyone else? My favorite is the full version of the resort TV. I listen to it all the time. I takes me back to my first trip in '99. (Is there anything like your first trip to Disney?????)

I hear ya, secondstar!

The first time I was able to listen to the full audio of Horizons and World of Motion, I sat there in tears. I hadn't heard them since the attractions had left, and had never thought I'd hear them again!

So it was definitely a "homecoming" by coming here!

I know the feeling secondstar! I often tear up when I listen to Subsonic. It makes me happy, but sad at the same time b/c I'm not actually there! But, it will give me my fix until I can return!

It's a tribute to the imagineers.... that so many people would be touched and amazed by WDW (for me, especially in the early years) and now SSR serves up the music and memories 24/7

How lucky can we get?

I don't really tear up... but I do get shivers sometimes... the good kind!

Me too. It's the reason I keep listening. I love to hear the crowds. With my headphones on, I feel like I am there.

Yeah man - a lot of the music chokes me up with nostalgic memories.

I definitely get welled up on some tracks... usually I just have the feel good high to get me through my day. There are certaonly tracks I change streams on immediately, tracks I smile at, tracks I "crank it up" on, and lastly tracks that get me tearing up.

Subsonic has truly given me a GIFT I can never pay back!! There are 3-4 people who everyone needs to be grateful to daily and they know who they are! Hats off guys.

I'm pretty used to hearing all the tracks here. When I first found out that there was audio from the parks and heard them, certain tracks would give me the chills. Now, occasionally, if I find something I've been looking for and then find, something I haven't heard in a while, or just in the right mood, I'll still get the chills. This most recently happened with 3rd Tunnel from Space Mountain.

The tracks on here certainly effect my mood for the day.

Totally understand where you're coming from. There are definitely tracks on here that make me shiver or even bring tears to my eyes. It's one reason why I keep coming back.

You are definitely not alone with your box of kleenex. WDW has a lot of fond memories for me since my husband proposed there and we went on our honeymoon there so when I first signed up for subsonicradio and I heard some of my favorite tracks like Illuminations, Pirates, Mo'rockin, etc. I cried a few times. It just brought me back to that place that had so many good memories.

I'm listening to the 66:00 minute Illuminations evening at Epcot track right now and it's choking me upl. It's like I'm there.
Nothing like walking around the World Showcase in the evening hours!!!
