I was just searching FlyTunes, which allows streaming music on your iPhone (or iPod touch) and was thoroughly excited to see "Disney Park Music" as a new addition. My heart pumped as I clicked play... and I heard the familiar "Ladies and Gentlemen..." of Subsonic Radio!!!!! yeah!! :D
if you have any iPhone or iPod touch, just head to http://www.flytunes.fm/ and sign up for an account to start listenting. You can view the station list here: http://www.flytunes.fm/Channels.aspx
They don't mention SR by name, but it's in the Kids section.. bah. But our iPhone prayers have been answered, and now I can have SR with me 100% of the time. Yay!!!

yeah, it's only an extra $20 per month, and comes with all iPhones. It's actually cheaper for this plan for my wife and I than a regular plan when we were on Verizon.

It seems that flytunes records an hour stream of SR and then just streams it. Since you can rewind it back to the beginning again and stuff. It doesn't match what's LIVE.

I got an iPod Touch for Christmas (right before they came out with the bigger memory ones of course...). I'm signing up for flytunes right now!!

Also true, they don't do an actual stream of the audio, but to the best of my knowledge they archive the prior 1.5 hours or so for playback. It's like listening with a delay.

Hehe, that's cool. My phone is rapidly becoming "stone aged" so I can't touch subsonic with it. :p

if you listen to SR on your iphone during 1 hour, is it a constant 1 hour edge connection or does your phone download a certain pack or amount of music
if it's a constant connection then probably your battery are low in 10 minutes....

it's the same thing as if you were watching a quicktime movie. It basically downloads ahead of itself and then stops once it completes the download. My battery life has been fine listening so far, it usually DLs an hour in about 5 minutes or so.
