I have finally joined the rest of the world and purchased an iPhone when my old phone finally died. And I don't know why I waited so long. I haven't been able to listen to SR at work for the last two years, but now I can again.

It is a great phone, but I noticed a glitch with the ootunes app Len recommended. It can't connect to the scheduled stream. I can connect to all the rest but not scheduled. Now I don't know if this is because the stream is full but I can't imagine it is full all the time

hmm I don't recall ever recommending that program. (Just looked back in the thread and it was imthewalrus79 who posted about that). I use Tuner which I paid around $4.99. However, there is really no need to purchase any applications anymore since you can stream anything right in safari.

I just listen in Safari and use the 24K stream, but not if I'm not plugged in to a power source ~ it eats battery life like crazy!

Hmmm, sorry Len. I read it awhile ago and just attributed it to you...my bad. I didn't know you could stream through safari, well caca. Shoucast also has a free app that lists SubSonic, though it isn't all the streams.

Just so y'all know. In probably about a week, I'll be submitting the SubsonicRadio iPhone/iPodTouch/iPad/iOS app to apple. It'll be a free app.

(Just so you don't run out and drop $5 on another player.)

I got an iPhone for Christmas and had been listening to a lot of Pandora on it. I was trying to get Pandora to play me some Disney music to no avail.

Suddenly, I decided to check if there was a Subsonic app, and there is! I've been listening to it almost constantly since then, and thought I'd stop in to point out it is very awesome and works completely perfectly. The only possible thing I could want is an easier way to request from the app, but whatever, it's great as it is.

I got an unexpected iPod touch for Christmas and when I tried to listen to Subsonic through Safari I was disappointed to see that I basically had to shut down the rest of the browser to do it. I couldn't look at the Now Playing list or anything. Then I found the app and it made my entire morning! Thank you thank you thank you, BleuLlama!

Love the SR app on my iphone ... problem is I'm in a bad area and the stream does not always play contiously ... oh well, that's what the ipod is for, LOL

I ended up getting my mom to download the app when she got her iPhone last month... she's totally addicted now. I feel so accomplished.
