I’ve tried to figure out the names of all the rides that have sound effects in this track, but there is one that I just can’t get and it’s driving me crazy! It’s the part that comes right after the Big Thunder Mountain sound effects, and right before the vultures from Splash Mountain say "So, you're looking for a laughing place". It’s a western/cowboy sounding song and you hear bullets ricochet in the background. I know it’s probably hard to know what part I’m talking about without actually hearing the track, but is anybody familiar enough with the track to know this part and what ride it is from?

The part you are thinking of is the "Shooting Gallery" section. During this section the castle has gobo's (projected images) of ducks and rabbits, and fireworks exploding on the castle at different spots.
You can see it in this video: Just go to minute 11:35

in the video you can actually see the gobo's on the castle during the shooting gallery scene. look towards the bottom of the screen.

I think it's meant to be a generic Old West type intermission and introduction to Frontierland.

Oh there's a track for this? Oh, thank god. I'll be sure to check it out since I saw the parade for once last week.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking it might have something to do with the Golden Horseshoe, but that was wrong. I suppose that it would have been obvious that those sound effects were from the Shooting Gallery if I had actually seen the show instead of just listening to the track. Thanks for the video link.

The way they switched from the different lands always made this one of my favs. The only disappointment was no Capt EO reference...at least I've never been able to hear one.
