Thanks for that bdinger..ive also been curious as to what the track listing for this was.
This is by far one of my all time favorites when it comes to the classical pieces. Such a well put together ensemble and very powerful in terms of sound. If anyone hasnt listened to this yet, then you should definitely give it a try.

Hehe, what is this Disney or Universal? All great music, but where's the originality?
Fortunately, I like it so it stays in.

Most of the time I'm not very good with this stuff, but I'm failing to see how these movies/music titles, in particular, tie in with the theme of Soarin', or flight, in general. What am I missing? Not that I mind, I just thought there would be some sort of relationship between the theme of the ride and the music. Anybody know?

I think alot of it is just dramatic music that kind of matches the music in the ride. they just picked music that sounded good. no real theme like the rest of The Land pavillion. at least that's how it seems to me...

It's on the Soarin' station you say? Is that still available? I can't seem to find it under the rest of the stations and I would very much like to hear this track. It's not the same as the already existing track on the request station, is it?bdinger wrote:The following is a list taken from a "Soarin' Queue" loop I've seen floating around the Internet. Hopefully this helps. (This loop is the same loop that plays on the Soarin' station on Subsonic Radio. It appears as 10 Queue when it's playing.)

I'll buy that. I wonder, though, who was the person who watched Indecent Proposal enough to 1. Remember the soundtrack/musical score, 2. Liked it enough to put it in the queue of a Disney ride.js3901 wrote:I think alot of it is just dramatic music that kind of matches the music in the ride. they just picked music that sounded good. no real theme like the rest of The Land pavillion. at least that's how it seems to me...

Yea, I have to agree with js on this one as well. It all has to to do with the sound and feeling this piece evokes. When I first listened to it, I didn't know what any of the names or movies it came from were, but I guess I didn't need to know because it worked for me. All I know is it has an epic-surreal kinda sound to it, which is probably what the imagineers were trying to get across.js3901 wrote:I think alot of it is just dramatic music that kind of matches the music in the ride. they just picked music that sounded good. no real theme like the rest of The Land pavillion. at least that's how it seems to me...
Whatever the reason is....this is excellent music!

Well, those were specific to their attractions and park though. Disney and Lucasfilm had set up a deal for Star Tours.well it's not the first time non-disney stuff enter disney property : what about star wars and all the stuff in mgm ?
Same for the MGM studios, using the material from those other films.
It's a little different than that with Soarin'.
