Requesting a Long Song

I want to request a song that requires over 3000 points! (Epcot Christmas Entrance Loop). Is there a way to get that many points without posting a million messages? Or is there a time when that track will play in the "Scheduled" program?

To request it, you'll need to participate in the forum by posting lots - that's how you get points. You could also ask an admin very nicely in the chat and they may queue it up for you.
I think it depends which track it is as to whether it'll play in the Scheduled stream.
Andy.

Yea...the only way to get that requested is to start posting on the forums or you could just ask one of the mods on the subsonic chat room. Other than that you could ask one of us to use our points to request it if youve become buddy-buddy with someone on here...just a thought!

I know I'm still working 70 hours a week to pay the last song request off...But we need another request night again soon!

The chat is a very good way to get songs queued up. The Admins can even bypass songs that have been recently played. I've known myself to play Star Tunnel several times in an hour.

I'll take bribes, although I can't force tracks into the queue

Just start posting like crazy!
Only not really. Ask someone with a lot of posts if they'd be so kind to request it for you, or try the admins in chat. I'm really just repeating what everyone else has said though, so I guess this isn't particularly helpful.

Unless
you're trying to request a long song!

I'm just trying to give the OP another person to contact for those long song requests.

People have been saying, "just post a lot". Well, we don't tolerate people posting just to get points. We have a keen eye for pointless responses.

I don't think that Sub needs to worry about the points. he DOES control the player after all...
