Hello everyone!

I am a newbie to this webiste so I was wondering about the A,B,C, etc. ticket thing and the cast member thing. I am an A ticket member and I am a Horseless Carriage Chauffer? Now if I have this correctly, the more you post is the way you can move up to a different cast member? Or can you change it in your profile? Also, how many points do you get for each time you post a reply or new topic? Or is it by how many times you post? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated! :D

Okay, so like you and I are both A ticket members and you are a Fire Engine Driver? What's up with that?!?! Hopefully veteran members will reply to my post so I can understand this better....love this site by the way!!!!

Okay, I think I just answered my first question. I think your position and type of member is based on how many posts or replies you do because my profession just changed to a King Arthur Carousel Horseman....okay, now if I could just understand the poinst system... :mickey:

The point system is pretty straight forward..
You start with 1800 points ( I believe this is the correct number)
Every time you post you earn ten more points to add to your total
These points are spent on requesting music
Each song has it's own point value that you see listed next to it
The points will return to your total after twenty four hours and you can then spend them again.
I hope this is the help you needed. :)

The point system is explained HERE and HERE. In a nutshell, you get 1800 points when you first sign up, and then 10 points for each post you contribute to the forums. As a reminder, and is echoed in many threads, posting just for points (ie - double posts as mentioned HERE, a post with single words, or just emoticons) will not be tolerated.

As for the ranks (A-Ticet, B-Ticket, etc) and job titles, please see this post which tells all about them...

Welcome to subsonic, acgonzales. You will love it, as well as find it addictive. The music that you can request and that is played, makes you wish that you were at the parks. ENJOY!!

The ticket levels are for fun. They don't "unlock" anything. Unless you consider getting to that point where you can request high point song.

Hi! I'm new too. I was looking for some Disney park audio and came across this site today. Very cool!

Listening to the park audio really brings back memories. Can't wait to get back to WDW .... 14 months from now.

Even though it's far away, Subsonic's will take care of you. When you hear a "deep" track come up the playlist, it'll bring you right back to the park. Glad to have you here, and enjoy yourself!

Welcome!

One thing you'll quickly learn is that everyone who makes requests have different tastes... and that's GREAT! I've heard so many themes and area music that was requested that I didn't even know existed.
