Internet Radio Question

I was just curious and I thought I read this wasn't an issue with Subsonic, but when the majority of Internet Radio Stations close within the next few weeks will this affect Subsonic in any way? I guess what I mean is will Subsonic still be on the air? Which I believe I read wasn't an issue. I am also wondering if people from Live 365 and elsewhere start running to Subsonic does anyone think it will be difficult to get to listen to this great station?
Again I'm sure this was discussed, but I couldn't find it.
Thanks

We still will be on the air as long as I can help it.
We'll have no problem supporting more listeners. We have plenty of room to expand at this point.

I wonder why lots of stations will have to close down. do you have a link to this article? Glad to hear that there is plenty of room for new disney lovers though.

I'm pretty sure this is what they are talking about.

The basics of it are that it will be illegal in the US to broadcast over the internet in any form that doesn't have DRM protection. So MP3 streaming is pretty much illegal.

Did this go through? I've read about the internet royalties bill. I'm not sure if that one went through either.

I've been hearing a lot about this and the bill. What exactly is happening and if it is or does become illegal to stream mp3s how will SR cope?

At this point there are so many gray areas with the stream music. Until everything gets finalized I would not worry.
I know the royalty rates have changed several times.
Just saying lets not make an issue out of something that currently is not an issue.

I hope that congress listen to us on this issue also (After the last few weeks I think mine knows me by name). Everyone has to get involved and call their congress person and let them know how they feel. After the Amnesty bill, I think we've got their ears!

Ah, another reason not to like Diane Feinstein.
