Go to the request section or click on playlist at the top header. From there you can search for songs and request stuff. You'll see how much it costs on the right.

But what about the titles in Red?

Post by Fantasrick » Dec Thu 16, 2004 3:25 pm

Why are there songs that are in red in the request list?

They are recently played tracks and will go back to normal after a set time - done to avoid repeats in a short amount of time...

Cool, Thanks

Thanks for the info. I suspected that was why the songs were denoted in red.

How do you spend your points? An apology.

Post by Stateyourname » Dec Sat 18, 2004 12:14 am

I am sorry, I should have clarified my question. What I meant, was what sounds do you like to hear. I for one like to start my requests with "monorail doors" just so you know I am coming. Some of my favorite sounds come from "Tommorrow Land" and "Future World". So when I ask "How do you spend your points?" I mean, "What is some of your favorite sounds?" For all who posted to this topic, it was an honest mistake. I am sorry I didn't make myself clearer.

I like Yesterland stuff and area music. Usually the shorter tracks though. I find myself choosing Star Tunnel from Space Mountain and Transition Tunnel from Horizons the most.

I love to spend mine on setting up a whole group that if you were in the park you may hear.

Example:
  • 1. I request Illuminations 5 min warning
    2.a illuminations 3 min song
    3.illuminations 2 min warning
    4.illuminations intro
    5.illuminations opening
    6.illuminations 1 of 4
    7.illuminations 2 of 4
    8.illuminations 3 of 4
    9.illuminations 4 of 4
I know people hate it when I do this but It is one that should be played together I only request this maybe every other day if I can resist the temptation. Sorry if you get up set, I'm not meaning to do this but It is cool to hear.

Also I try do do my request when I notice no one has requested anything in awhile

Ahh - the classic safety spiels! Where else but Disney parks will you find fans of "please remain seated"? :D

A lot of times I'll go for a mix from AK and Epcot, toss in some DCA and that is often what I end up choosing. And it sort of depends on what has been playing [either I'll keep the mood or go to a whole different park...]. Or if it is on a long streak of computer picked tracks sometimes I'll just sit back and see what it goes for [that can pull up a lot of tracks that don't get requested but are still good]...

I would probably be choosing Epcot and Magic Kingdom more, specifically Spaceship Earth and Area Music come in to mind :D

My fav music has to be Future World and Tomorrowland, i occasionally also dip into the limited mgm library (the only area of subsonic that doesnt have every single disney sound) but Future World is my fav, very soothing
