How did I end up with -10 points?

I was at zero a little while ago... How can that happen? Did someone delete a post of mine?

that would probably be me. you had 2 posts in one thread that were just a few minutes apart. I combined them, and deleted one.

What is the likelyhood of us loosing points through a technical error? Should we try and keep a record of what we have accumulated just in case or do you have backups?
