Subsonic Radio

If I were smart enough, I'd make one. But I'm not. Anyone out there have a Subsonic Radio themed skin for Winamp?

I'd love to see this! I'd like to make one, but that's not where my priorities lie.
Any takers?

I have created a standalone player for SR (which needs updating). I can see how hard it will be to do a Winamp skin but I use the Standalone player.

The Standalone player will show you the current song and the time remaining. I like this because Winamp for me doesn't show the time left.

Man, if someone knew how to do this that would be so cool! I have WinAmp up all the time, adding a Sub skin would be groovy.

and if someone does make one, make sure to make one of the Modern skins, as well as classic.

I've looked into it a bit and it doesn't look TOO difficult but it's a bit too time consuming for me at the moment.

Yeah I started to work on one. But its looks like it will take some time do to the way winamp does there skins. I will create one for classic and modern, so not to exclude anyone.

Eh, make them upgrade, your time is valuable too! I used Winamp lite forever, but needed to upgrade to hear ACC streams. I would upgrade for a SR skin.

I think new features on the site are more important that making a winamp skin as far as rdeacon's time is spent. I'd like to see someone else get involved too. We actually have a new theme to put up, we're going to work on that soon.

I made a few themes for myself for Winamp in its 2.x days, and those were easy -- When Nullsoft hit 3.x and made the switch over to the "Modern" skinning system, I got overwhelmed by all the XML coding. It always seemed weird to me that they didn't offer a GUI to help the Modern skinning process, as many programmers don't like designing, and many designers don't like programming, and here you have to know a fair amount of both...

Anyway, I'd be willing to give it a shot in my spare time. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions for a (for the time being) hypothetical Subsonic Radio Winamp skin, maybe we could use this thread to hear them out...?

That would be cool. I'd say base it on the default theme. I can get you the Photoshop source files.
