Subsonic on SIRRIUS ?

Post by Rockeater » May Thu 03, 2007 3:13 pm

Hi all, Im new. I ive in NC and LOVE subsonic radio, i always tell all my freinds about it. My question is this. Will or could subsonic be added to satelite radio like SIRRIUS, etc ? Sure would be a great station to listen to when ever you want. Its really the only one i listen to when ever I have internet.

Thx
JB

That would be awesome but I'm sure that would cost a lot of money, and probably would not be allowed by Disney

Yes, what packwingfn said. I'm sure it costs a bundle. And SR doesn't make any money.

Well has anybody actually checked to see how much cost if at all. Maybe SR will get paid to allow its content to be aired on satellite with Disney's permission of course.

it would be cool, for sure, but it'll never happen on a non-disney owned station

And I like the whole underground aspect of Subsonic, I wouldn't want it to become mainstream lol

Agreed, itd be subsonic all the way. lol. SIRRIUS did just recently add Radio Disney to their list of stations and thats what promted my question about SR getting on there. I dont care much for Radio Disney though, but SR would be sweet. Oh well it was a thought and a dream.
thx all

I don't understand why Disney doesn't play park music occasionally on Radio Disney. It's like they try to disown the parks from Disney Channel and Radio Disney. They should be using it to their advantage. They have to be aware that many people like the park music otherwise they truly are a misguided company.

bdinger raises a very good point which cascades back to Disney. Catering to "tweens" only causes those kids to beg their parents to go to the parks. But it's the parents (older) people that make the decisions and spend the money. Disney needs to cater towards those people. Disney should really bring back Wonderful World of Disney.

If I heard someone blasting it's a small world from their car (especially a macho man) I would laugh so hard! That would be great.

A bit off topic, but I'm agreeing with those above. I wish the Disney Channel and Radio Disney would be used to play music and shows that are truly Disney (as in parks or movies or old TV shows) and could appeal to someone other than the tween set.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Well I would defnitely turn it off if It's A Small World came on but I'm just talking about the background music would be fine.
