Request points

Why is it that some users have more points than the standard 1830. for example I noticed that AKRULES and Spaulo sometimes request songs that require massive amounts of points (i.e. illuminations an evening at EPCOT which is a little over 4k points to request).
Is there a way that one can earn more points? I am a pretty regular listener and a few more points here and there might be nice.

Thank you for providing such a wonderful service to all of us starving disney freaks land locked here in the midwest with years at a time between our visits to the place we truely call "home".

you earn points for participation in the forums - posting here. You gain 10 points per post. just keep in mind that posting just for the sake of gaining more points will not be tolerated. when making a post, it should be on-topic and add to the discussion at hand.

the standard points one gets is not 1830, it's 1800. you gained 30 points for the posts you made (before this one). with this post, your points will be at 1840 when the regen is at full.

It's also in the FAQ

There are plans to limit high point users from dominating the station. Don't ask me when it'll be implemented though.

I think the whole participate on the boards is what makes this radio station the best Disney one out there.
