Subsonic Radio

I helped out the site by setting up a relay. now we can have more traffic listening to the music.

Currently, the only way to get to these additional relays is through the shoutcast page.

I'm in the thought process of figuring out how to pull this data and put it in the site.

My relay is up, running on a Sun Solaris 9 box. It was vary simple to set up with the config file.

no problem. anything I can do to help out.

And, for the shoutcast search, you sould probably use "subsonic" instead of disney. when you use disney, it'll pull up any station that has the work disney in it, song or otherwise. by using subsonic, it shows just the 3 streams.

And one more thing... I don't remember setting up a new thread. I could've sworn I replied to zenmondo's post about Mickey's birthday...

Sub I will set this up as soon as I get home. Will we see a change on the server if enogh people decide to do this?

Why would there be a change? All it does is add more listeners.

I asked Sub about this yesterday just after setting up the relay. It does show an increase in capacity on the Shoutcast page ( http://www.shoutcast.com/directory/?s=subsonic%27s ). He just needs to figure out a way to incorporate the data and add it to the site.

okay it is set up it will now stay up durring the day and at night yeah

he did it he got it to post the true amount of relays

That was nice and easy to setup. Hopefully its actually working

If you set up a relay be sure to tell me so I can add you to the relay group and get your ip so I know not to ban it.
