this theme has been a part of the site before the redesign. in fact, the tomorrowland theme you're referring to was the first theme made after the "default" Disneyland theme (like what's at the top of the forums).

After the Holiday theme was taken down, everyone was put onto the new Random theme generator. Everytime you visit the site (the main site, not the forums), it will randomly pick one of the themes to show. If you like and want to keep one of the themes you see, just visit the themes page and choose it. then it becomes your permanent theme (unless you want to change it again later)

Are there more themes in the works? I love the tomorrowland one as well, but other than the great music, I just cant stop staring at the people movers. A train or Mark Twain float by would be cool.

Theme's can be hard work. That Tomorrowland theme took a very long time. It burnt me out. I even made 3D models of the people mover cars and skyway. I put that up over a year ago and am finally starting to want to do one again. New scenes in the Tomorrowland would be fun too. :)
Here's the 3D models I made:

Well I think it's cool. Take your time, I'll be here for a while. You did a really cool job on the Tomorrowland theme. Cool models, doesn't look like something I want to attempt myself... yet.

sub, those are really nice models. What program did you use to create them? The Tomorrowland theme looks really complex to create, but I love the results!

I made the models in Lightwave. I did some 3D work for a start up gaming company that went a different direction.

If you want to dabble with 3D there's a free program called Blender. I've been interested in learning Blender because it's free :)

Thanks, sub! I can never believe how many programs are out there. I'm in the middle of learning SolidWorks right now, which is a lot more user friendly than the ever evil Pro/E. Hopefully someday I'll learn to make fun 3D Disney ride models!

Excellent job, rdeacon! I love the Polynesian Tiki symbol at the top of each side bar. Oh, and the different tikis that pop up when I roll over each link at the top bar. The fire is a great effect! It makes me feel all warm and happy on this cold winter day.
