My $0.02 worth:

It seems like the home page being the status page is not as warm, fuzzy, or informational as if, say, the "Now Playing" page was "home."

What changes are you working on?

I've said if before, but I sure like the header and overall site design. I use it in web design courses, as an excellent example of:

Great sense of style
+ Appropriate theming
+ Clear functionality
================
User's expectations being surpassed.

Always lots of wows, oohs, and aahs in the class room.

Sure looking forward to whatever you think would be an improvement!!

Upcoming changes are top secret

I really really want to get this up. I feel so frustrated that I haven't had time. It's so close. It's been due to a job switch, offering to help a friend with a website, halloween, birthdays, parents from out of town, and the occasional personal relaxing/game time.

I do have plans for the home page as well as major functionallity changes. Because it's so many changes I feel there are going to be a lot of bugs. This has resulted in me needing to code my own, simple, bug tracker. Once it's done, don't ask when, I don't know, I plan on putting up an open beta test server and will make an announcement about it.

To sum up Subsonic Radio 2.0 progress:
- A LOT of issues people have with the current site will be solved
- A bunch of new features will be added
- Unknown estimated time of arrival

I don't want to give too much away because I have competition now.

As far as I am concerned there is NO competition, it's SR all the way!!

I have no problems if things never change -- SubsonicRadio is the best!

Dare I ask; There is another Disney music site?

there are various other sites - Visions Fantastic, Sorcerer Radio. a few others. alot of them are on Live 365, but there are a couple on Shoutcast (which this station runs on).

Another good website is Utilidors Audio Broadcasting!!! Visions Fantastic is under rennovation but it still a good site.

Utilidors are evil there are some issue with them and this site(I will not say rip off) Oops!! SR is the best I no most other sites are slow and isn't as clean as SR. I have seen a lot of changes through SR I have been here since 2004 and believe me I can't wait to see what Sub rolls out

Sub, we have all the confidence in the world in your abilities and vision. Take your time, and do it right -- the way you want to. Makes it all the more enjoyable.

Take your time. Those of us who listen are just grateful that you're willing to do this at all! I don't know what I'd do without SR! My spouse jokingly refers to it as my "happy place".

I used to listen to some of the Disney music on Live 365, and there's no comparison. SR is so much more than just music.

Totally agree!!! I don't even have the urge to try any other site, because this one is so good. It's more than the music. The forums are a great place to swap stories, ask questions, read about rumors, etc. As has been stated before, it's like family. Take your time Sub, we're not going anywhere.

I was looking at the other sites, This one is the easiest to use out of all of them.
