I love all the SM tracks. Star Tunnel, the entrance area track. I don't remember what the name of the song is that plays after the ride in WDW when you're walking up the FedEx ramp to get out of the ride, but that one's great too.

Star Tunnel is one of my favorites. I don't know what it is about that track why so many people like it. All in all the track is pretty simple.

I think the reason star track is so popular is for three very big reasons:

1) It is probably one of the most powerful memory inducing tracks. You can really picture hiking up that long, dark tunnel filled with all the funky hollograms (sp?) and getting excited because you know that this isn't much of a wait ahead of you....usually...and what does remain is in the AC and has atleast something to look at as you wait.

2) It's just a good song/melody

3) It has to be one of the most relaxing, soothing tracks I've ever heard. Nevermind in just WDW, but anywhere. You can picture a serene starry night with shooting stars going by as the track hits those little notes that I believe try to create the shooting star effect through audio. That track + the atmosphere section of Horizons and maybe Behind the Waterfall from Tomorrowland area are awesome when trying to go to sleep.

I think the #1 reason you listed is probably the biggest reason why I love this track. I can see the part in the line with all the holographs. Especially the ones that look the ride and move as you change your point of view. I always thought that was so cool when i was a kid and saw those.

Memories is always a given. I think it's because the track sounds spacey and futuristic as well.

The only place I've heard the tune is on SubsonicRadio, so I don't have any memories associated with it. I just like it because of the melody and yes, because of the relaxing nature of the tune.

There are a lot of songs on SubsonicRadio that are like that. I just listen to the broadcast for a while and hear a song a few times, then it's stuck in my head and I have to catch it the next time it plays to figure out what it is. I have only ever been to Disneyland in California, but it seems like most of the music I like is from Epcot.

It's the one bad thing about Fastpass - we blew through the line so quickly this past week that we just heard snippets of it.

I've never been on WDW's Space Mountain, but I will admit, it is a pretty good track!
