Hi All -- I just listed to the Haunted Mansion - The Story and Song for the first time. Does anyone know when this was recorded? The boy's voice reminded me of Ron Howard. Just wondering...

OMG! I REMEMBER THAT ALBUM! I think my Dad may still have that! As a kid, I actually had the donald duck halloween album too! ONE OF MY FAVORITES! I wonder where it got to.... Hmmmmmmmmmm

I really hate that track. I'm sorry but the acting is so bad and cheesy and not in an entertaining/funny way....just in the sad boring way.

But that's what makes it so fun! The campy bad acting.... You just have to laugh at how BAD it is! Hahahahahahaha. Still..... when I was a kid...... I didn't know the difference b/w good acting and bad acting... SO maybe it's the good ole fondness of it all that makes me like it still.

Considering the fact it's a record and they have to convey emotions somehow. I mean the Shadow Radios programs were cheesy. I like it even though Ron Howard sounds like he had his nose closed throughout most of it.

I don't know, I can enjoy camping bad acting especially in B-Movie type stuff but I just don't find it here in this track. Maybe if it weren't so long and so slow in progression but as it is it just drags on only being broken up by Ron Howard's (apparently) awkward voice. That track and that French Minnie Mouse are the tracks I loathe the most lol. I'm glad Ron decided to step behind the lens if that is him
