Norway - area - stave church

Dagone that might just be the most moving piece of music on the entire Subsonic playlist. I sure would love to have this on my iPod - I wish it was on the Official WDW CD.

Yes, that track almost puts me to tears for some reason. Very haunting in a way.
"A pirate in irons be full o' guile.
And the blackest 'art wears the broadest smile."

Oh, and "Welcome Home."

I love this piece, too. I've been checking it over the past few days to see if it's available for request. No luck yet...some day...

Yea, it's on! I tried to request it earlier this morning, but it was unavailable. It's playing now as a random pick. I'm so glad that I caught it this time!

It still plays, or at least it did 2 years ago. I think they added it when they re-did the interior to be more like a museum? It's sort of like an Enya song almost...not really but that's the best way I can describe it.

We'll be eating at Akershus in August, so I'll make it a point to see if I can catch it while there. That would be cool!

I didn't really hear it anywhere else other than during the film, where the boy is at the museum-and it was only for a few seconds.

No, it was definitely from the stave church because for weeks I had been trying to hear it but it was always requested and finally some night I got to hear it and I definitely recalled hearing it in the newly (well a couple years 'newly') renovated Stave Church interior where they now have the displays with actual figures rather than just pics of old real stave churches.

OMG, is there an actual Stave Church in Epcot? Call me lame for never noticing! Although I do blame myself for never exploring the Showcase in great detail

There's an actual stave church and 1/2 of a viking boat you can explore :mickey3:
