Favorite Requester

Post by rudekick » May Thu 04, 2006 9:45 pm

After listening to 20 Pal Mickey tracks in a row (ouch!), abrcrmbegrl20 wins the "My favorite requester" award by saving me with the following three tracks:

Walt Disney World - EPCOT - futureworld - spaceship earth - ride through - walter cronkite (live)
Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Frontierland - splash mountain - area music - laughin place
Walt Disney World - MGM Studios - muppet vision 3d - complete attraction audio

Nice taste! (and bad taste to whoever requests so many pal mickeys!) I appreciate the breath of fresh air while my points regen.

Anyways, does anyone else on Subsonic have really good taste? Who's your favorite requester?

I'm the unknown requester :) I queue tracks up on the server end. Usually Star Tunnel and yesterland tracks.

You could play Star Tunnel every hour and I'd never get sick of it. That should be one that is always requestable. (hey, another enhancement idea!)
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

Yeah, but I have a hunch that Sub was also responsible for playing the following trace TWICE IN THREE SONGS a couple days ago:

California Adventure - paradise pier music - full 3711 points 61 Minutes, 51 seconds.

We know it was you!

:) Suuuuure....want to hear it again?

I had to change the settings on how the random songs got queued. Something broke and nothing would play. I'll try changing it back again.

Now this idea I totally dig - maybe include Stave Church, too, from Norway?! :D

I used to always check star tunnel when I had points, but I have it downloaded to my ipod now and computer o I can play it on constant loop whenever I want so I've layed off burning the refreshed star tunnel tracks :P I'm surprised it seems like no one requests the DLP version, I think it's indentical just a bit shorter.

As for favorite requester I'd have to say myself because no one knows my tastes like me  Although I will say I've seen a doppleganger of myself requesting. They have like "Mr.ToadWildRide" or something as their name and they request almost all the songs I was going to (i.e. stuff from future world in EPCOT) and I got freaked out. But hey, great name and song choice! :D

I was just thinking the same thing. I like this song, but something certainly seems wrong...

I thought I was hearing that a little too often. And guess what's on again right now? I love Paradise Pier though, and the music makes me think of having no finals to study for, so I don't mind.

We are on to you though sub! Any reason for this particular track? A favorite of yours perhaps?
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Mr.ToadWildRider Gets my vote for favorite requester.

Now there is someone who really likes the good classic stuff. Things like Spaceship Earth and others. I always enjoy when they post.

The first thing I think of when I hear "Subsonic" is Star Tunnel. From the first time I joined till now, I don't think there's a song that I've heard more. Except maybe CoP. Now I know why. It's a nice tune, and reminds me of the old Space Mountain.
"A pirate in irons be full o' guile.
And the blackest 'art wears the broadest smile."

Oh, and "Welcome Home."
