Hide Songs I Can't Request

Hey Subs,
I had an idea. Now that we're on this 72 hour no-repeat cycle there are an awful lot of songs in the list that cannot be requested. It'd be cool to have the option of hiding all the unrequestable songs.

Oooh, I would love that. Is that possible, Oh Sonic One?

I actually would like to see the songs I can't request, but add a column that shows the next time you can request the song.

As I remember, that idea was being thrown around a while ago... Sub, what was the reason that was voted down? I can't recollect.

I like it, Added to "the list" of improvements I'm keeping. Soon...soon... I'll start working on the site again.

I thought this idea was bad because someone could dominate that track and always request it. It then occured to me that everybody would know when it was available again and that they could be there to listen. I'll add it to the list

But at the same time if it's at a time that other people in different time zones are around those people might not be able to hear it. Example as an east coast resident if the song was constantly selected at say 10 PM western time zone when it was refreshed that'd mean I'd have to be logged in at 1 AM just to hear it. Conversely if someone on the east coast loved to hear a certain track before going to work or something at 6 AM that'd mean west coasters would have to get up at or up til 3 AM to hear it. The current system seems to be more fair to everyone, that's just my opinion.
Great job on the site, thank you
*Edit: I may have misunderstood though - did you mean keep it randomized as to refresh time but just show when it'd be refreshed? Because then I guess it could still be accessible to a wider audience while at the same time more easily scheduled for people wanting to hear it. My post was talking about a system where the refresh was set to an exact time as opposed to the more randomized one now of about 3 days rather than exactly 72 hours and being advertised as to when it'd refresh.

This is the reason the hours aren't based on a 24 times n period. I offset it by few hours so next request time will change in the time of day.

Some times I feel bad requesting something that I see other people requesting a lot because I am on the East Coast and I was thinking we get a jump on things ahead of the West Coasters and it won't be available to them, but maybe it all evens out. I am trying NOT to hog my fav's and only request maybe 4..5 OK 6 in a row

I too have noticed that something wasn't available when I came into work in the morning, but later in the day it was, so like I said I believe it all works out in the wash as my momma used to say!
