Okay I have no idea what you guys are talking about and now my curosity is peaked. Sort of like when you go by an accident and you just kind of stare as you drive by. Is anyone going to kill me or ban me if I request it just once so I can hear what its like...I know some of you will most likely skip it but I really want to hear it at least once LOL

Oh come on. It's funny and a piece of turn of the century Americana! IMHO, I don't think it's any worse than the lady's barn burning down. It could also be my sick sense of humor. Yea Elizabeth, I added it to my treasures.

I think its the actual sounds of the work being done that drive me absolutely nuts. I just cringed...great part of Disney history I agree, but one I don't have to relive again LOL

I actually enjoyed the lady and the burning barn LOL

Yeah, add me to the list of sickos who love the burning barn track.

But the dental drill... I just can't. I appreciate it for the macabre sense of humor aspect, but I don't want to hear it again. >_<

I heard it for the first time the other day (the burning barn) and I was just fascinated with it. I was very amused (there might be something wrong with me) but I did enjoy it!! I have a lot of favorites on here but I love the Main Street Sounds...well except for the dentist..my curiosity has been satisfied forever for that track...ughh.

The lady with the burning barn is one track that I always have to switch off and turn to a different station.

The burning barn doesn't make me cringe in pain so much as just share that lady's frustration at such a goof of a town fire marshal / post office clerk / whatever else he is.

I know; me too! That track just went on forever and ever, and ended suitably.

I heard the dentist track the other day and it wasn't so bad; can't remember if I listened to the whole thing because I blanked it out after a while.

Now the one that just makes me laugh and laugh is the Wizard of Bras ad...I still can't believe that used to be in DISNEYLAND! Imagine what it would be like if it were still there!

I heard the rocky mountain or rocky top dentist track earlier this week and I thought that one was worse than the Main Street one for some reason.

It's the sounds that get me.
