Attention Spam Bots: We are on to you!

Who falls for these stupid auto-posts that say things like "Great topic! I totally agree. See my blog for more" (with a link, of course)?! Nothing can beat human intervention, and I've been clearing out quite a bit of junk posts over the past year and removing the users. Always been a problem and may not be getting worse necessarily. But I wonder if, at this point in the Internet's maturity, it's just bots talking to other bots and clicking each other's links.

And redirects are not like they used to be.. Back in the day, it was big on the Google Algorithm but now it isn't so important.

hmm, bots talking to other bots ~ if only we could get the telemarketer scammers to do the same!

I heard about some guy who created a voice-activated script (like an IVR) that handled telemarketer calls and gave them a hard time. Very funny.
