Anyway, does anyone know why Frapper won't let us upload a picture? I know that's a loaded question, but any ideas will help.
German and Mexico?? See the connection?
 Oy Jacca...starting already? (I'm gonna need some mousekediapers if you're gonna continue along this path!)

In all seriousness, though, has anyone ever been able to figure out what's wrong with Frapper?

Is there anything we can use instead of frapper?

It's been a long time since the Frappr map died, but I guess the idea to have one of those maps is still around?

I think a good alternative would be MyGuestMap which is based on Google Maps. That is, unless you want to start from scratch and create your own map - I've seen some custom-made solutions somewhere, but I don't really remember how they did it...

Hmm, so you register on that site then add a pin where you are?

As a user, you don't have to register - you just open the page where the map is (it can also be embedded somewhere), click on the corresponding spot of the map to set the marker (one can provide his name, a message and a link with it) and that's it.

I just noticed, however, that there seems to be a limit of 500 markers per map - compared to the number of registered users here (I know, there will only be a certain percentage using this, but anyway...) that's nothing...

I have exams at the moment, but I can try and look into a custom-made alternative as soon as I'm finished, if you want me to...
