Lately, I'm tiring of the Carousel of Progress tracks just because I think I'm hearing them far too often.
I like the attraction well enough, just hearing it too much!

What I dread is when people play the same track over and over and over. Currently, I am listening to a variation of the Disneyland Railroad for the 4th time in a row with yet another iteration of it coming up next.
All done by the same user, not cool dude. If you want to listen to the same thing over and over again, go to DLR and ride the train all day long. Don't make us listen to it.

Bunk. You are not made to listen to anything. A couple of grand circle tours are A LOT shorter than WDW area loops, EPCOT attractions and Halloween parades, which I typically have to wait play through before hopping on the DLRR.netslave wrote:What I dread is when people play the same track over and over and over. Vote for Pedro to put internet live cams in Disneyland Park
I don't care about the length, it's the fact that it's the same audio over and over and over and over and over. If the DLRR track was 60 minutes long, I wouldn't care, but play a 3 minute track over and over again, that gets annoying.Bunk. You are not made to listen to anything. But that's just me.

I've been using the Soarin' station to my advantage lately. I didn't feel like listening to the Wilderness Lodge loop, or the WDW podcast, so I got in line at Soarin'! Go through the Soarin' loop once, and whatever has been playing on the request that I wasn't in the mood for, is long gone. What I dread is when people play the same track over and over and over. I have this problem too; I'm just glad the request streams squeak through. At home I'll go scheduled but at work if something really long comes on that I don't want to hear, I'll flee to my iPod or Pandora.netslave wrote:I usually just hit the scheduled feed if I hear something on the requests line that I don't like, but when I'm at work, they pretty much block all ports except 8000 so I can't hear it.
If it's short enough I'll just grin and bear it (or take my headphones off for a few minutes). I figure there are things I request people don't wanna hear sometimes, so I can't get too upset about other people's requests that make me cringe. Except that Thunder Mountain goats thing. (I kid. Enjoy your goats, people.

Spaceship Earth-Tomorrows Child. Had a bad experience when the ride got stuck
. This track is engraved into my brain.
I added it to my treasured tracks then I can request it myself so it doesn’t creep up and surprise me.

work hasn't blocked me yet... I cringe when I hear some of the looped sections of HM or ToT or Test Track - i.e., hallway of doors=screams, the graveyard scene without "grim grinning ghosts"=dog howling, test track sections=brake noises, etc.
Sub, you gotta work on a background music station appropriate for those of us that work in an office!
