Ellen is on right now and yep, I'm snickering. Something about it, still funny after all this time. And now with Sub on two channels it doesn't matter as much about length. Now CoP - that is a tough one to endure :D And Sub is right, we need more DL loops!

It really depends, I wasn't a fan of the Sci-fi Dine-In loop. Over our last trip, we had a wonderful lunch there. When I tuned into the stream the Sci-Fi loop was on and I quite enjoyed it.

There's no way Subsonic Radio can please everybody. There's a lot of tracks I can't stand but people love because of the memories of that area.

That's a good point. Most of my favorite tracks are linked to my favorite attractions. I've never been to the Sci-Fi Diner; it's one of those things we always thought would be cool but never had time to do. Maybe if we go there I'll have pleasant memories to connect with the music loop.

I don't expect SR to please me 100% of the time; that would be unreasonable. But I'm happy about 90% of the time, which is a far better rate than any traditional radio station could achieve!

Also, it probably hasn't been brought up in a while, but there's the Scheduled stream which plays other content. If something you don't like is playing on the Requests stream there's no need to leave SR, just go to the Scheduled stream :)

Yeah the Wonders of Life loop is on right now, and I was really in the mood for Haunted Mansion, and I just happened to flip over to the Scheduled Stream and it was playing the Haunted Mansion full ride, which was exactly what I was in the mood for!! Talk about lucky. :mickey:

I really enjoy most of them. I'm sometimes on a certain mood (like an Epcot mood instead of a Magic Kingdom), but I don't go :? or anything.

The only ones I don't think I'll ever enjoy are the Vacation Planning ones. I don't know maybe I'm weird.

You're not wierd! I dont like those ones either.I'd much rather hear area music or things from rides and show than someone telling me about Disney.
Just give me the music and my imagination will do the rest!! :D

Ellen's Energy Adventure is pretty annoying. As to some of the long loops, I can't say that I mind them, unless there is something that I'm itching to request. For me, the WoL loop is one of my favorites and I love it when that one plays even if it is more than an hour long.

While some people like certain tracks and others don't it seems the general consensus is that the looong tracks are the ones people get frustrated with. With new tracks, we try and split them up into smaller ones and number them.

It's only the long tracks if they're repetitive. Even ten minute tracks can be awful, i.e. the Mainstreet Railroad track which seems to play the the same 4 vocals over and over for 10 minutes straight! The same thing with the Mattehorn spiel...kinda annoying :-\ I like a lot of the long tracks i.e. WoL, EPCOT entrance, because they're usually non-vocal and varied not the same thing over and over for the entire thing (with the exception of SciFi which is kinda rough, and the GMR track which is like inaudible and kinda kills the stream for 40+ minutes)

Any parades

I know they have just as much place as anything else, but Parades drive me insane, especially the longer ones.

I'll agree with you on that - the longer ambient tracks from WOL, Living Seas and some of the Epcot streams are more interesting and fun to listen to. I love, personally, most of the music - short or long tracks - and it's really cool to see what other people request - it's how I've found some of my treasures.

What I'm seeing here is pretty much what I agree with. The more tracks that I own, the less I like to listen to them here. Also, the longer those tracks are, the more frustrating it gets to wait to listen again.

But, since I just found this site, it will take me a while before I get sick of anything!

I ery rarely listen to the station myself, anymore. I have every track in my personal playlist (I organize all the tracks for Sub to add into the playlist), so I can listen to them any time I want.

the only time I listen to the station is when I am traveling (as all my files are on an external HD, they don't all fit on my laptop) or if there is a live event like the DJ chat next weekend. I stop by for a little bit.
