I have to agree with "zenmondo" regarding the "walt disney world - epcot - world showcase - china area - loop full". Wow!! I will admit I had to hit the mute button after a few minutes. Several of the parades get annoying after a while, but I'm enough of a WDW freak that I respect what others taste may be.

Anything holiday related. Right now these epcot christmas songs have been on for like, the last HOUR. ITS MAY!!!!!
The christmas parades and the halloween parades have been on SO much and since its the actual tracks they just repeat... over... and over... and over....

IMO there should be a limit for how many times excessively long tracks can be played per week or something.

edit: I also dread seeing America Sings on the coming up list for the 92374937423th time.

Welcome to the forums, maryssa! The nice thing about Subsonic Radio is the more you post in the forums, the more points you get for song requests. Pretty soon you'll be able to queue up all your favorites and not have to endure Christmas in May. Or June. Or July... (Just please forego requesting the Main Street Dentist--that's excruciating! )

Aw man, what is wrong with Christmas in May? :(

I think we've got some pretty good measures in place to prevent excessive playing of tracks over and over. The great thing about Subsonic is that you get to hear a ton of different music and I've grown to really dig some tracks I'd have never requested had someone else not. Jump in and have fun with it. :D

Yep, this is the biggest problem about a "radio" station. There will be stuff someone will like that you won't. I also find that part of the fun. I just can't get into the on demand stuff. I don't want to really think about everything I want to hear. I only collect Disney audio. I only listen to streaming sites.

I have to agree with the Christmas/Halloween stuff in May. Christmas music is nice....in December. Also, the Matterhorn stuff is quite annoying. Yodeling and "Welcome to the most exciting Bobsled ride etc etc etc" repeated every few seconds.

I do like the China music though.

WDW around Christmas time is something everyone should experience!! I love Disney all year round, so why not Christmas too? I don't request the Christmas stuff very much myself, but I love it when it comes on.

Ok....... I've been listening for longer since I first posted on this particular thread.... The following, I don't like hearing (but will still sit through ... since the stuff on this site varies)
  • - The Adventures through Innerspace
    - The "Fritos" thing
    - The All Aboard one that repeats and repeats (don't know the exact # or name)
Ok....... This said, I've been reading through this thread and how some people don't like the "Long" tracks and WANT TO BREAK THEM UP!!!!! grrrrrrrr.. I have to vent... I have to do it... I really do... I'm usually upbeat here... but REALLY PEOPLE!!!! This is a FREE site! We ALL have points and we should be able to use them how we like. I rather LIKE the long EPCOT loops.... I LOVE THE LONG ENTRANCE LOOPS FROM ANY OF THE WDW PARKS!! They remind me of that happy, childlike joy I get, feeling the warm sun on my back while walking through the parks. :p I think having to listen to the stuff you don't really care for is a very, VERY SMALL price to pay in order to enjoy the plethora of AWESOME (and need I mention again... FREE) music on this site! ::: deep breath.... count to 15....::

Ok....... venting is done... proceed with happy feelings again. :) :mickey:

I don't dread them but when any of the ragtime tracks come on after awhile I find my head bobbing back and forth in fast rythmn and my eyes bouncing inside their sockets from the head movement ... lol Its like being on too much caffeine!! ha ha

what fritos thing? I've never heard it. I even tried searching for it and didn't get any results. (Not to play it, just to see what it is) What is the full title of the track...I'd like to just know what evreyone is talking about.
