well the sync will always be off even if you start the players at the same exact time. I have been testing for about a month now and haven't had it repeat a song. now the way I pull the current song is not connected to the play button it is independant. so one song might be playing and then my player should look and display the information. I think it updates every 30 sec

Great job! I might have to find out what you use to display the name of the track currently playing. I'm wanting to make a widget that could have the Now Playing list.....someday

Cool.... I use iTunes for my SSR goodness, though, so I don't have a need for the player. But very cool, nonetheless.

keep it up. since I'm downloading tracks from Sub for organizing, I don't want to download this. For now, I just run it. once I'm done with the tracks, then I'll do a permanent dl.

I would certainly vote for keeping the player downloadable! I like that its compact. For those of us on less than "new" computers itunes takes 40+ megs ram while your player only takes 8!

You can also use Winamp lite (not version 5). It's a small player.

I think the term is 'laggard', but I prefer 'late adopter.' I just discovered your SRP today. I love it. I like how it shows who requested the current tracks

I'm glad to see everyone is enjoying it. I am actually in school learning flash and Am loving it. So be ready for some new player versions.

(just for an idea I am getting the tink from Subs Main theme on the player so watch for that)

Okay I have created a 128k version it is very basic. it can minimize to tray by pressing F8 and maximize by pressing F9

Okay now version 1.5 is out here are the changes
Download Now

1. Now when you start the player it plays.
2. It also lets you know what song is playing and who requested it
3. Also at anytime if you want to see what song is playing, click on the play button
4. The F8 still minimizes
5. The F9 still Maximizes but when you maximize it displays the current song that’s playing
6. This Version includes a SR logo for the Icon
