Maybe it could be where a specific user can only request a certain track every 3 1/2 days, but other users can request it in a day or so. Or is that what already happens? Because I can see discouraging one person from requesting the same thing over and over, but if other people want it to, they should be able to get it sooner.

Well I believe they do what they do right now with the tracks so there is more diversity of the tracks if one was to listen throughout most of the day so people don't get sick of hearing the same stuff over and over again even if it was another user who requested it.

I became a fan of Subsonic because of that aspect. I love their large database of music and how diverse the selections are without repetition.
