streaming/ripping A song, not multiple songs?

Ripping a song is basically recording the song and saving it so you can have a copy to listen to whenever you want. Here is the wikipedia link if you would like to read more.

Thanks, I wanted to make sure it was the same term. I'm familiar with doing that with CD's. And DVD's too - that's how I get my DVD-R of my vacation vids turned into AVI. I just didn't know you could do that with streaming radio. Just to be safe: if I use Windows Media Player or WINAMP, there's nothing in that software that can rip streaming radio?

Just use the most current version of Winamp or WMP and you should be fine
