the current one is a bit flat at the end. If you listen to the real electrical parade intro, the speaker raises his pitch when he says "Electrical Parade". in the old intro, it matched as far as pitch at the end. The current one is just flat throughout, IMHO.

Thanks for the comparisons, sub! After listening to them, I am forced to reverse my earlier comment. Perhaps I just hadn't listened to the actual MSEP in a while. The new intro is definitely closer in timbre to the original.subsonic wrote:For comparison:

The Introductions are good, but I also personally like the commercial breaks in between as well...
the Captain EO one
Star Tunnel One.
I wouldn't mind more too, that would be fun

It's amazing work, either way... although as many times as my network gets disconnected at work (switching back and forth between VPN and NOT VPNed), I hear it about 100 times a day... so random would be my vote as well.... alternate with something Adventureland or "Please stand clear of the Subsonic Radio, por favor manteganse alejado de las radio Subsonic."
Or "Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, Subsonc proudly presents............" with the booming guy's voice (a la old Illuminations VOs)
Hmmmmmm. could be fun to try to create some of these!
"Where do you think you are, Subsonic Radio??"
