Howdy Croaker,

Thank you for your kind reply. Yes, those days were most difficult for my family. But, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation Erik lived almost 6 years longer then the doctors thought he would. His 'wish' was to meet Mickey Mouse. When we arrived in Florida we were told that our first day would be spent at EPCOT Center. I thought 'how odd' but we did as told and went to EPCOT. It was there the Disney MAGIC hit Erik. I am so thankful for Dreamfinder & Figment. Erik became good buddies with Dreamfinder. Dreamfinder would phone Erik when he was in the hospital for chemo. He, also, called Erik at home. It was such a magical time. The heartache I felt but so deeply but the JOY Disney brought to Erik was overwhelming. I wrote to the KODAK Company to thank them for they involvement in "Journey." I think I said this before but we took Erik (and Catherine, my daughter) to WDW 12 times during those 6 years. I have always loved Walt Disney and his dream of EPCOT gave my son a longer life.

Don't feel my burden was greater then yours. We each have our crosses to bear. How old is your daughter? Her name? Has she been to WDW?

Thanks so much for being so caring. You are correct this site is awesome. Disney lovers are the BEST!!! :mickey: :mickey:
