A question re Background music

Post by jenhen27 » Mar Fri 06, 2009 2:25 pm

I was listening to the background stream (still am) and I just heard the final track of the Space Camp soundtrack. This is one of my favortie movies of all time so I was pleasantly surprised. I just checked the requests and couldn't find the track listed individually. Is all of the background music available on request? And if so, do you have any idea what you called this track? It should be titled "Home Again".

Thanks!

Jen,

All the tracks on the background stream are available to be requested. Its possible we have the it labeled as something else. Did you notice the track name? If you use winamp it displays it. You could also try here http://bgm-high.subsonicradio.com:8000/played.html, or other option is if you hear it can jump into chat and type the !bgm command. I need to work on a now playing page... just need to find the time.

No I didn't catch the track name. Only the yellow lightning bolt icon works for me in order to play your stations and that opens Nero Showtime. I tried to figure out how to change it so Nero is not my default player but unfortunately that seems to be over my technical knowledge and skill. Nero doesn't show names. The link you posted says invalid source but that's probably my computer. I tried searching through all of the tracks with "space" in them but nothing seemed likely. Next time I hear it I'll go into chat and ask the bot what's playing.

have you installed winamp?

If you install it it should take over as the default player. If you have winamp you can change your app preferences by going to :

IE: Tools -> Internet Options - > Programs Tab, then at the bottom internet progams, click the set programs button. Then click Associate a file type or protocol with a program. Once again look for .pls.

Firefox: Tools -> Options, then applications tab. Look for PLS file.

If you get lost, drop by chat. Someone should be able to help you out.

bdinger wrote:I think I figured it out... I was just listening to the Background stream and a track named "Condor Flats - Area - Area" was playing. Then, I did a search and saw this page:

http://www.disneymusicloops.com/dlr/dlr-gs-cf.html

It lists a track from Space Camp as being a part of the Condor Flats loop. You may want to try requesting the Condor Flats Area track on the request stream and see if that's what you're looking for.

I hope this helps!

this is definatelly the song you are thinking of!!!! one of favorite movies as well!
