Has your selection of music changed?

Post by wdwannabe » Feb Fri 20, 2009 12:11 pm

Has your likes and dislikes of music changed since you have been a member here?

I feel like my selections have grown, I like more Disneyland music, but that must go to the fact that I have never been to Disneyland, but get to hear it here.

Not really, I still love the Poly and ToT. But, I do enjoy requesting more selections from EPCOT since our last trip. :D Just love the music from the Innoventions Plaza!

Good question! Made me think a bit, but I gotta say I think most of my usual requests haven't changed. But there is always such a variety of requests on here and we still get exposed to everything.

I am in the majority, my tastes/requests haven't changed since becoming a member.

Off and on it does. Since I've never been to any other parks aside from DL and DCA, I'm always open to listening to WDW, DLP or TDS tracks and it's always fun to listen to new ones.

My list has definitely grown as I hear more WDW and other non-DL tracks. I'm a sucker for Wilderness Lodge stuff, and those have become some of my biggest requests. I also enjoy the Pizzafari tracks from AK. It's really just listening to others' requests that introduces me to new music.

Not really. I'm a WDW loyalist, through and through.

My best memories of growing up were the trips to the park that my grandparents would take me on - we'd go every year during Christmas break from school.

It's the memories that keep me loyal to the WDW stuff, so I'm a huge fan of the old-school tracks like WoM, Horizons, Kitchen Kabaret, the old Illuminations, the 80's electric water pageant, Spectromagic. I also loved the Holiday stream when it was running. What memories that stuff brought back! I hope it continues next holiday season, with some more tracks from MK...in particular the Main Street holiday loop!

Somewhat, I used to listen to just rides. Now I also listen to area music. It all depends on my mood.

Of course!!!! I started on this site listening to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tracks. After about a month I added about 20 songs to my listening list, this was back before the advent of the treasures list. After about a year I just gave up on listening to specific songs and I just started listening to what ever was on. Granted I have songs that I just don't want to listen to, but I have multiple channels to choose from. More recently I have been collecting the songs that I like the most, through purchase of old CD's and mp3 downloads (although I prefer the CD's) and I have built up a small collection of songs in WAV form. I'm more of an Audiophile now a days so I like the higher quality audio.
