About 1:30 or so this afternoon, heard the WDW Monorail loop while standing outside of Ariel's Grotto in California Adventure. Then, around 6:00, listened to something (don't remember now) outside of Peter Pan in fantasyland. Mission complete!

Wow, thats..um.. congratulations, and good job on your mission. You shouldve had some shameless plugging or something while listening to Subsonic.

I chose the last one.

Plus I really don't have a laptop, only desktop.
But If I do have a laptop, I would probly not listen to Subsonic while I am at Disney, I rather enjoy myself at the park or where I am staying. Once I come back from that wonderful place, I would listen to Subsonic Radio again.

Edit: Maybe I should buy something from Subsonic and wear it when I am Disneyland. Maybe somepeople will notice that Subsonic Radio has something to do with Disney.
Love Tomorrowland and Adventureland, but hard to decide to which one is best.

My wife would choke me if I put on Subsonic in a Disney hotel.

I've never stayed at a hotel since I'm forty-five minutes away from it so I never tried that out before.

It usually gives me ideas of where to go the next day in the parks. Other than that I listen just because I always listen to Disney Music it seems. Although today I have been listening to Smashing Pumpkins.

wow, dragging up old, nearly dead threads from almost 4 years ago. bringing back the dead, so to speak.

Well, for my answer - though not a "hotel room", per se, Dr. Ravenscroft and I listened a little in our camp site at Ft. Winderness on our December 2006 trip. lucky that the sites all have electricity, and that my phone had broadband access and a data cord to hook up to my laptop...

I confess, but it was only done as a joke. I decided to play the backgroud stream and say it was part of WDW's new in room music.

The last time I went, I didn't know about Subsonic Radio.. But I will have my laptop there this year. I am fairly certain that we are going to spring for the internet in the room. If we do, then you can bet I will be listening!

BTW, what is the price for internet in the rooms at WDWR? And is it a plug in or wireless?

I do have a wireless card and I we are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter.

The last time we were there, they charged $10/day for the internet. Obviously you only get charged if you use their internet. We thought it was well worth it! :D Would be nice if they gave it to you complimentary or one flat fee.

Figment,
"BTW, what is the price for internet in the rooms at WDWR? And is it a plug in or wireless? "

It has been $10 per 24 hour period but since I am DVC I haven't had to pay in a few years. There is an ethernet jack in the room near the table. I take along my Apple Airport Express and select my "travel" profile which mimics my home wireless network and plug it in. I then have wireless in my room that matches home so there is no setup on my laptops or iPhones.
