I'm not totally sure about that. WDW has a set number of seats, and they're alot of them, but the area around Rivers of America can get extremely packed. And yes the venue is actually larger, they can store more stuff on the island. In WDW they have to try to fit all of their stuff behind that smallish mountain.

I do, but the one in DL is supposed to be that too, in theory. They just didn't want to build another steamboat since they already had the Mark Twain.

I never thought of it that way. I look at it like this, you can fit more characters on the Mark Twain so more of your favorite ones are there. Granted it is a 3 story Boat and half of the Characters are on the opposite side of the viewing are (they do switch but if you are in Frontierland or the Left edge of NOS you will only see half of them) but you still have the opportunity to see the character you REALLY want to see. With WDW you don't get that luxury, you get what like 20 Characters at the most. Just saying.
One thing I do like about the WDW version is the addition of the pocahontas scene. I kind of wish they would add that scene in DL, maybe they will with the upgrades slated for the upcoming rehab. They are getting a new Dragon and other upgrades. I don't remember if the rehab is going to be done by DL5 or if it is after that but it should be fun.
This is all opinion by the way.
