It is the most fun listening to the monorail tracks. I think if most people thought about it and answered spontaneously and honestly, the answer to what is your favourite ride at WDW, the answer would overwhelming be "the monorail".

Now if I could just have a nice long recording of just a monorail station (preferable Poly or MK) I would be in heaven....Just to picture myself standing there waiting for a train....ahhhhh

Hi folks. Being here on the west coast I definitely get goosebumps every time I hear ANY monorail track, (I've also been to WDW a few times so I'm familiar with both). There's just something about that feeling of being in an enclosed, moving vehicle and having all that fun info piped in at you. I also hope that ALL the different tracks are kept, they really do briing back specific memories of their respective years. Later, peace.

It's always great hearing the monorail tracks, especially live and in person at WDW. And, it sounds corny, but it's always sad to hear it for the last time on a trip. You know, after a few days of going to the park, it's almost time to go home, and you're on the monorail for the last time.

last days, in general, are awful xyzzy. i totally know what you mean. my hubby and i would get all mopey and sad the last day of a trip to wdw.

we don't get that way as much anymore, though, because now we go 3 times a year. it still sucks to have to leave, and it is sad, but not 1/50 as bad as it was when we'd go once a year.

i know to most people that'd sound nuts lol...but wdw is just such a magical place:) and my hubby and i have such great memories there

The Monorail Tracks definitely have a warm place in my heart too...

But I don't really think riding the monorail out of the parks is what hits me... i think it's getting on the Parking Tram, or wandering out to the car that gets me all mopey... :(

Por favor mantengase alejado de las puertas. It's pretty much the only Spanish that I know.
I love the monorail track. :mickey:
1980, 2000, 2005 and 2008 all had plenty of magic. Hoping for a bit more in 2010.

I soooooo agree with you. I don't know what it is about those tracks, but it is so neat to "be back in WDW" even if you are only at work!!

It's great to hear tracks that really make you feel like you're back in the park when you close your eyes. It's funny how some of those tracks are just spiels. :)
