Playlist for Schedules Tracks?
I like listening to the scheduled tracks, but how do I find out what is playing? Now Playing only tells me the requested tracks.

You can see the schedule at:

We don't have a real time version for the scheduled track stream like we do for the request stream.

as Eagle4life will no doubt say, you can see the corrently playing track on the schedule stream by using the Subsonic Radio Player. at current, that's about the only way to see what's on, besides looking at your own player (winamp, wmp, etc)

ok, maybe not WMP. I haven't used it in a while, and last time I used it I remember it showing the titles. I know that Winamp shows the title, as that's the program I always use. Sorry for the misinformation...

Yeah, unfortunately, WMP does not display the track name anymore. Work won't let me install winamp either, so it's like I'm in the dark agesjs3901 wrote:ok, maybe not WMP. just random tracks from the playlist. one track could be from Impressions de France in Epcot, the next could be Phantom Manor from DLRP. there's no theme.FlaDisFamily wrote:In regards to the Scheduled play list, what is played in the "Normal" section of air time?

If you have access to iTunes, it shows the track that is currently playing, no matter what stream you listen to. (Another reason why I love Apple and Steve Jobs!)

I listen using RealPlayer basic. It also gives you all the track details no matter what stream you listen to. It's a free download from

I try pushing Winamp on people. That also shows the current song.

WMP used to drop the stream on me all the time, but I don't have that problem with winamp and itunes (or at least, when they do drop they rebuffer on their own). The fact they show what's playing is also a nice perk. For what it's worth, I've found VLC shows the current track on every stream too (though it's a fiend of a resource hog).
