IM TOTALLY LOST, HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by michael david magoo » Sep Mon 10, 2007 8:18 pm

:D I requested 4 songs, two loaded to 100 % two are at 88 %.

I dont understand, are these songs that are saved for me to listen to later? If so, how do I access them, to listen to them, where do I access them, where will they be listed. Im totally lost on this. My thought is that I request them, then they are saved somewhere so I can listen to them later.

Please explain the system to me, and dont leave out even the smallest detail.

Thanks much, Mike.

ok, not sure what you mean by loaded to 100% or loaded to 88%. but I can help with the rest of the question.

The request system is set up so when you click "request now", it will go into the queue to be played. you can view what's coming up in the queue at the following page: http://www.subsonicradio.com/station/now_playing.php

Your requests aren't saved anywhere to listen to later. Think of it kind of like a jukebox - when you put the money in and request the song, it will play almost immediately (also, once you request you can't cancel it). Your requests will be put into the queue after any other requests from other users.

To listen to your requests, just tune into one the Requests streams (128k, 64k, or 24k) from the main page.

any other questions, feel free to ask, or just check out the FAQ from the main page

you can bookmark them. they'll update automatically when you visit the page. The links are also available from the main page on the left hand nav bar (under the dtream links).

you can also use the Subsonic Radio Player I wrote. It handles all the streams and will show you what is playing and what has played along with what is coming up (the request streams only)

The link is in my Signature. You can also click on the song and add it to your treasured list

I was thinking that, myself. But I haven't known the regen counter to actually show 100%. I thought it just disappeared after the 99%. of course, I've never actually watched it regen all the way through...
