Subsonic brings back all the wonderful memories of WDW and Disneyland. It also makes me yearn for a trip to the parks. Right now the music from Norway is playing and..well I am so grateful for this station. :ariel: :goofy_bounce: :ccat: :mickey3:

Even if Subsonic satisfies my appetite for the parks, It isn't the same but I think it's sad when I get uber excited when I hear a particular piece while I'm in the park and I get chills down my spine because instead of hearing it in my headphone for the longest time, I can finally hear it through a disneyfied speaker, surrounded by the magic
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

I can't answer for Subsonic, as I am still working on figuring out how to listen here. However, Disney Radio in general mostly it makes me want to go to the parks right now. Though in a long dry spell it does help placate me.

I definately like to listen to park music when I plan.

Well.......since I have Bruce Wayne aka Batman living with me I have to settle listening to Subsonic. I am so grateful for Subsonic!

Of course there is nothing like being at the parks. But, being able to listen to Disney music anytime is a dream come true.

Got to agree with NapoleonD Disney is missing an opportunity here.

Perhaps they should employ Subsonic to run an online radio station for them on a full time basis. Download you favs for a small price?

This site definately whets my appetite for the parks.

I think it would be a neat idea to do a mmorpg about disney you could expand on the kingdom hearts series or there is a book out there called Kingdom Keepers and you could expandupon that principal. the thing about mmorpg's is you have to reach a ceartain level to go alot of different places and I would want to do it all as level one. Plus think of us poor adults we would be so out numbered by the millions of little kids that would play the game. Trekty pointed me in the direction of VMK and I just couldnt get into it. But if it was 3d like World of Warcraft (GO HORDE) I would totaly try it out.

I think it definitely does both for me. On one hand, it makes me remember everything I love about Disneyland and want to go very much, but on the other hand it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. For the time being, I'm completely content sitting at my desk at work listening to Subsonic. Makes everything go by a lot quicker :)

It depends... if i know I'm going to the park soon it whets my appetite. But if I know I can't make it for a while then it's a nice substitute. Either way, it's not just the music here but the people that make it cool.

Makes me want to go back to the parks. Ill be there next Monday, but since I have to do my 40 hours to stay seasonal, Ill be busy working 34 hours. Not much time to play in the parks.

Hey C133125: I am thinking about applying to become seasonal when I go in Oct. What are the perks? , what are the drawbacks? sorry don't mean to change topic.

Like everyone else, some days I just get frustrated and stressed at work. Listening to Subsonic just puts me in a better mood. I get more work done, and I'm more pleasant to be around (at least my employees think so).

You get a main gate pass (3 people, 6 times), you also get the holiday celebrations packet with comp tickets (I got one last December, and then one in August of this year with 2 more comp tickets). You also get all the discounts and whatnot of part/full timers.

Downsides are that you have to work 40 hours a year (not that bad), but the real pain of it all is finding a place to stay and transportation. The resorts on property are usually the best choice, since you can get up to a 50% discount on them, and they have the transportation to the parks.

Nothing on earth can alleviate a sane persons desires to be at the Parks! But SSR does help (if ever so slightly) to soothe the pain of knowing that you are not at the parks. All the same time increasing your desire to be at the "real thing". Which in turn increases your need for that SSR soothing, so you listen more, which increases your desire to be at the parks, which increases your need for that SSR soothing ..................
