Where can you download this track online. I'd love to have it on my ipod. Is it a track from someones cd? Or is it just another disney masterpiece? I'd love to have it :D

The music in the queue for SM is my absolute favorite.

The music for Space Mountain is among the best at MK, right up there with Haunted Mansion. The entrance theme (which was also played, with lyrics at the end queue before the Tomorrowland renovations in the mid-90s) was the first thing I added to the custom CD I made at the Journey Into Imagination kiosk back in the day.

I've heard tell of these custom CD things. I want them. Why aren't they there anymore? Did they not make money?

The CD kiosks

Post by Agosaol Brythwich » Oct Sun 22, 2006 12:42 pm

So far as I could tell, WDW removed them after many of the tracks appeared online on Napster and other similar sites. I got my CD in 2000; the booths were removed not long afterward. I had heard that a similar custom CD kiosk was installed in Main Street, USA, so it may still be possible to make them.

Those kiosks were shutdown the other day, the ones on Main street, I don't think they are up and running anymore. But of course they only had the songs from the CD's they sell anyway so there really is no point in using the things.

It doesn't really matter, it seems to only play in that area as soon as you enter the building. The "Ballroom" as I call it with all the gray ballpit balls undr you. It may have played a little in the beginning of the tunnel where they have real pictures of spece like the horse head nebula. Once we hit the holographs it seemed to be another track. The thing is the line rarely extends to the ballpit area because they cut off a big line BEFORE you enter and there's often a big enough gap between when they let you into the building and the end of the line in the building that you end up closer to the actual tunnel.

Space Mountain is a classic. Still holds up to bigger, faster, "better" coasters. The music is really great.
