OMG, is there an actual Stave Church in Epcot? Call me lame for never noticing! Although I do blame myself for never exploring the Showcase in great detail

There's an actual stave church and 1/2 of a viking boat you can explore

I know about the 1/2 viking boat- but not about the church. I probably never knew about it because I'm always on my way elsewhere in the park. Dang. I. Feel. Stupid. I'll be sure to visit it next time and emerse myself in the music as well.

I think the church was there well before the boat. If you've seen the boat I'm sure you've seen the church, it's the tall landmark structure next to the boat. It almost looks like the Tiki Room building.

Oh man you can't miss the structure - it's right in front of the Norway pavillion - you'll definitely say "oh yeah" once you see it again.

Great picture of the stave church. I was looking through my pics to see if I had a good one to post, but yours is probably better than anything I have.

But gray sky days are much cooler, especially with the nice refreshing rains

Plus it scatters the crowds like rats in a...well storm.

That track is always the first one I look for when I make my requests. I am glad that so many others feel the same way I do about that track. It really is a moving track and makes my day when I hear it. I wonder if Sub has any info on the origins of the track since so many of these tracks have roots other than just the attractions they come from. For example, the tracks Footprints and Raghupatti from the Flame Tree Barbecue area at animal kingdom come from Jai Uttall and there is no mention of this artist anywhere.

It comes from the album
Officium by the Hilliard Ensemble with saxophonist Jan Garbarek. It's the first track Parce Mihi Domine. BTW, you can get a translation of the text and score of the choral parts here: [
http://www.cpdl.org/wiki/index.php/Parc ... e_Morales)] .
note: besure to keep the parentheses, but remove the braces

I wish that Subsonic would put a second stream of it up so that it could be requested more often. It's always red when i try to request it and i check for it about 3 times a day.

It is really lovely. And I'm not Norweigan.
Do they still have the buffet restaurant in Norway? I heard it was one of the cheaper places to eat?? Any good? Fishy?
No, no... He's got a point.
