Len90 - Then I'm either hallucinating or the boat driver had on a personal radio the last time we took the boat from Port Orleans to DTD. While going through the lagoon and docking, Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus was playing on the boat's speakers. I remember this as I made a comment about my 4yo son singing Miley Cyrus and apologized to the entire boat that my kid even knew that song. And I'm pretty sure I heard banjo music playing on the way between PO and FQ.

Hmmmmm..... maybe some of the boats do have it and I just don't remember it.... wouldn't be the first time my scatter-brained-edness kicked in.

I don't remember the boats having music either?! We just rode them last year too, it was raining and we needed to get to from the YC to DHS. B-dude calls them the "slow boats to China".

Indeed they are, I can walk faster than they're allowed to travel. If only the path were as straight as the boats I would be able to beat them to their destination.

Those are different boats than the ones that I had mentioned earlier. The Friendships and MK resort boats don't play music. I have never ridden on the water taxis by the DTD resorts to know. I highly doubt a CM would bring a personal radio on the boat as that would most likely be violating Disney rules.NaCler wrote:Len90 - Then I'm either hallucinating or the boat driver had on a personal radio the last time we took the boat from Port Orleans to DTD. Len90 - Now that makes sense. I didn't think about them being different type of boats, but the friendships are slightly bigger. You would think if they had sound on the smaller resort boats, they should have it on the bigger going to the park boats. Odd...

You're not crazy NaCler. They do play music. The one from OKW to DTD was playing that exact song when I was down there. I was sick of that song by the end of my trip. I heard on a bus over to DTD too. Must have been the DTD 'theme'. I loved riding to Epcot or MK. The music was much better reminded me of Sub. I wish they could get some bus loops on here.
