The windows firewall? I don't know. Cuuld be lame. I've never had firewall problems. But it could be that from your company.

http://www.accessirc.net/ is the website for the IRC server we are on. William Tropico was able to get on with the .zip file.

I'll have to check later. I get the same error thru the java chat link you sent. I am not sure if it is the windows firewall on this box or the cisco firewall which I am behind. I tried to modify both with some information I found, but I cannot seem to find a defenitive port list. I'll try from home this evening.

The javachat was NOT working for me as well. I have installed the newest version of the chat. It works for me now. Please test it.
