I highly recommend it. We were a bit "meh" by the trailers, so we didn't see it right away, and now I really regret not seeing it in 3-D. I was very pleasantly surprised.jacobcary1 wrote: I have not seen the new movie Tangled yet. I am looking forward to it.

Re: Theme VS Thrill
I will admit that as an Ohio native I love thrill rides. Sometimes all you need is a giant drop on a fast roller coaster. It goes so fast, theming is an afterthought, really.
What I'd like to see from Disney is more rides like Everest - nicely themed but still pretty intense.

I've been smitten by Rapunzel. She's so adorable with her frying pan.

Re: Spectromagic
Ok, back on topic...the last rumor I heard was that MSEP is "on loan" for 2 years to WDW while DCA finishes it's refurb. I haven't heard anything about Spectromagic though. I can't believe they'd let it sit for 2 years without doing anything to it...or letting it be performed somewhere. I...

Re: Illuminations vs. Wishes
This one really depends on the time of year. Non-holidays I'd say Wishes, hands down. The holiday add-on to Illuminations is so amazing, though, that it's by far my favorite at Christmas.

Re: Wonders of Life Pavilion Memories
I really miss Cranium Command. It was a great show, even if the pop references were getting dated. I have some pictures from inside during our last visit when it was open. I should get them posted.
I never did like Body Wars, though. I think in all the years it was open I only ever rode once.

Re: Spectromagic or The Electric Light Parade?
I'll always be a Spectro girl. I worked on both Spectro and ELP during the late 90s at the MK, so I can even compare the costumes and amount of work each one puts on the performers and support CMs. I can even remember seeing Spectro for the first time in 1991 and thinking there was no way it could p...

Re: Childhood memory Assistance please
Ah, the smell of oranges. How they always remind me of Horizons. Pick the desert ending! Or rather, we always did.
The ride description is definitely Horizons. I think the other posters are correct with the idea that the ride car is WOM, which did have a very similar look to SE.

Re: Does Test Track Need Some Refurbishment?
If they could tweak the high speed loop for 100+ mph I would never say a bad thing about the pre-show or the screens not working again. I was a CM when Test Track was being built, and we kept hearing rumors that the cars liked to toss the testing dummies out into the CM parking lot. D: I don't thin...

Re: She thought I was the only one!
This really made me laugh.
Reminds me of the reaction I would get when, as a CM, people would ask me what I did on my days off. I went to the parks!

Re: Does Test Track Need Some Refurbishment?
There used to be a heavy weight "thing" (I don't know what to call it) that they'd drop from two storeys up. I'm actually glad it broke ages ago. It was so loud it hurt my ears. I wonder if the queue gets less love because the emphasis is on the fastpass now, and fastpass riders ...

Re: What have you still not done?
We haven't done Tom Sawyer's Island & plan to every time we go, but never make it. Anyone know about how long it takes to check everything out? Are their bathrooms on the island (got little ones)? Yes, there are restrooms on TSI. There's some in the fort (definitely there) and also one at the d...

Re: Back home blues...what do you do?
I'm with Amy on this one - after 9 or 10 days at WDW I'm pretty glad to be back home. I'm usually exhausted and at the point where I can barely walk. That said, I spend a lot of time getting my pictures all ready to post to my dA accounts and update my groups there as well with the final trip ...

Then again, the short line works in our favor - I often ask to just stay on for a second ride and they let me!Amy wrote:I would have to agree on the TTA. I think a lot of people skip this as it isn't thrilling but I really enjoy it
