Napa Rose
For all the years I've had an AP and been going to disneyland I rarely eat at the parks since I can just go home and eat. :D Anyway, I'm going to have out of town guests coming and I was thinking of taking them to the Napa Rose since I heard that was a great resturant. Has it kept up the standards t...

Re: Haunted Mansion Holiday
Yep, and yep, and have done it before. Only problem is that while I am close it still is a bit of a time suck since parking and so forth, so I only do that on days when I have loooonnnggg processes that need to run. Thankfully I can just check their progress on my phone and also fix stuff (yay techn...

Re: Cpt. EO seating question
I take it that the show is exactly the same as in California, right? They make use of the moving floor and a few of the built in effects.

Re: magic express bus loop music
If you hadn't told me there was music on these buses I would swear that the buses are silent since the only thing I am thinking of is "Hurry up I, this lady is jabbing me with her bag".

Right now it's a bit hard to tell becuase of the state budget crisis. A lot of schools have weird schedules because they forced to furlough the teachers.

I think the soarin' stream may be down. I haven't listened to it before but when I tried to tune it it would give me "page cannot be displayed" rather than trying to load up in the player.

Re: Quickgold's "Big Problems with Walt Disney World"
Excellent article. You know, I paid $80/night for a Deluxe-quality room off property a couple years ago on Labor Day weekend. It was on 192 about 5 minutes from World Drive. I don't mind paying a premium to be on Disney property, but I agree that they've aggressively raised prices while simultaneou...

Re: Haunted Mansion Holiday
Are the crowds gone? If so I can finally start going again. I know I'm close and can go anytime but I really hate big crowds at disneyland like they get during the summer.

Re: Cpt. EO seating question
Ah, yeah, the dirty secret is that most shows/rides are retired for a reason, there usually isn't a large enough draw of people to merit keeping them open.

Hmmm... it doesn't look too worn/shiny so I am guessing people don't touch it very much. Is it somewhere in a shop in adventureland?

Cpt. EO seating question
I was wondering, are the CMs running EO at epcot really anal about seating like the ones at DLR are/were? After the hype had worn down with the show they were still making everyone move all the way down to the end of the rows in the theaters. The end result was that about 3/4 of the theater seats we...

Re: Epic Mickey openining movie
The game looks great but it is a shame that they only made it for the wii. Just imagine how much more there could have been if they went multi-platform. The Wii has great games but it often suffers behind the other two (three if you count pc) because of the lacking speed and power. Though now Sony i...

I sure hope the margarita thing doesn't get as out of hand as the martini thing did. I don't care that you put it in a coctail glass, it doesn't automatically make it a martini if it strays beyond the established confines. So help me god if you shake that gin I will cut you!

Re: Anyone ever been to Victoria and Albert's?
Good to know, just out of curiosity, would anyone be able to say that what made the food/experience good was the based on the food itself or was it the chef's skill? It's an odd question but I've had both experiences (luxury ingredients average chef and normal ingredients and skilled chef) and I jus...
